Day 295 -- The iPad
Colby got an iPad as part of a grant program he is doing at school. When it comes home at night, Breslin and Dharia have very much been enjoying it.
Dharia LOVES one of the art apps that let's her draw with her finger using paint, crayons, markers, even glitter.
Breslin LOVES some of the interactive children's books that Colby has (naturally) synced to it.
In addition to the obvious educational value and the fun they have with it, it has encouraged them to play together and share.

Tonight, all three of them sat together reading a book. Breslin navigated as the girls looked on.
I am thankful for the chance it gives them to do something fun that sparks their imaginations and allows them to be creative. I am grateful for the opportunity it provides for them to play together.
Thank God for the iPad!
Lord, thank you for all of the fun things my kids have been able to do with this neat tool. Thank you for teaching them the value of creativity and cooperation. Thank you for the chance to work with this piece of equipment even in our own home. In your name I pray, Amen.
