Day 169 -- 4th Hour Computer Lab

By the time lunch was over today, the temperature in my classroom had exceeded 88 degrees.  It was sweltering.  I didn't have any students third hour, and I couldn't imagine my fourth hour students being able to concentrate at all on their review in the nasty heat and humidity.  A colleague of mine suggested that I see whether one of the computer labs was available for the review session, as they all are equipped with air conditioning.  Fortunately, one was, so I put a sign on my door for my students to meet me there, and we had a much cooler, much more effective review session for their exam.  I am so thankful today for an opportunity for some relief from the heat during the school day!

Thank God for 4th Hour Computer Lab!

Lord, thank you for a chance for my students and I to be comfortable today so that their review could be more effective. Thank you for looking out for me in the smallest details and for helping me to get through the past couple of days of hot weather, as I'm sure you know I hate it.  Please help it to be an opportunity to enjoy the next few days even more because of their reasonable temperatures.  In your name I pray, Amen.
