Day 333 -- Massage
Today, I had a prescribed therapeutic massage at my chiropractor's office.
Oh, man. It was too good to be true!
It meant one hour of quiet relaxation, where all the tension in my neck, back, and shoulders was rubbed away.
I got to listen to pretty music and smell the essential oils of lavender and lemon.
When I got home, I hopped into a ridiculously hot shower and just marinated in my relaxed state for a while.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to get a massage! I am grateful for my in-laws, who graciously watched the kids for me so that I could go.
Thank God for a massage!
Lord, thank you for the chance to have some me time today. Thank you for the people who helped to make it possible. I am so grateful for the opportunities you give me to relax and unwind in the midst of the all the craziness of life. Help me to savor and cherish these times. In your name I pray, Amen.
