Day 1123 -- Out of the Driveway
This morning I had to leave extra early to officiate an invitational in Tecumseh.
It didn't start off well. I woke up late and walked outside to a icy, snowy vehicle that needed substantial brushing and scraping. To make matters worse, I couldn't get it out of the snow-covered driveway without getting stuck.
I tried vehicle number 2 with the same results. More scraping. More brushing. More getting stuck.
I didn't know what to do. I was already running late and with the roads bad, it wasn't looking good.
I was on the verge of panic when my handsome hubby came outside and offered to try to get the van out of the driveway. It only took him 2 tries and he was free.
He was my early-morning, snow day hero. I made it to the meet in plenty of time. I am so thankful for his mad snow-driving skills.
Thank God I made it out of the driveway!
Lord, thank you for my husband and for his help this morning. Thank you for helping me get to and from the meet safely on this snowy day. In your name I pray, Amen.
